Sintana Energy (TSX-V:SEI, OTC:ZDEXF) President Robert Bose takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the petroleum and natural gas exploration and development company's strategy of acquiring high-quality assets in politically stable and technically de-risked countries with substantial reserves potential.
He says Sintana's current projects include four large, highly prospective offshore licenses in the Orange and Walvis Basins and one onshore petroleum exploration license in Namibia and the unconventional resource at VMM-37 in Colombia’s Magdalena Basin.
Sintana is the only public company that provides exposure to both the offshore and onshore activies in Namibia. The Orange Basin in particular is home to recent multi-billion barrel discoveries by Shell and Total, he adds.
Bose says the company specifically targets assets that are underpinned by large potential outcomes and limited further capital required from Sintana.
