Fabled Copper Corp. (CSE:FABL) told investors it has received preliminary data from this summer's underground laser imaging, detection, and ranging (LIDAR) survey at its flagship Muskwa copper project in British Columbia, which it can now integrate with the results of other exploration at the property.
The Muskwa project spans 76 claims over 8,000 hectares (Ha) and comprises the Neil, Toro and Bronson properties.
Between August 1 and 5 this year, three employees of the College of North Atlantic (CNA) Office of Applied Research and Innovation (OARI) came to the site to test whether mobile mapping systems (MMS) could be used to generate an accurate georeferenced point cloud of old underground workings.
The resulting 3-D model would then be used to collect samples for assay, which then could be used to generate a 43-101 resource.
The mobile mapping systems were deployed in both the Eagle vein and Harris vein at the project.

A control was established outside the entrance of the Eagle vein and used to georeference an initial scan. The same procedure was applied to the Harris vein.
Fabled said that having used this "cutting-edge technology" and now having the 3-D point cloud, the company can integrate the data along with that from its surface drone missions at Muskwa over the Davis Keays Eagle vein plus add in the company's 2021 and 2022 sampling results, structural mapping and geophysics.
