ANGLE PLC (AIM:AGL, OTCQX:ANPCY) said it has achieved a significant commercial landmark by inking its first regional distribution deal for its US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) cleared and CE-marked liquid biopsy system, Parsortix.
The agreement is with medical equipment specialist Promedeus, part of the private equity-funded Vendeavour Group, and covers the Czech Republic. No financial details were given.
"We are pleased to enter into this agreement with Promedeus and are encouraged by the efforts that the Promedeus team has already made to understand the benefits that the Parsortix system can bring to their oncology-focused customer base,” said ANGLE founder Andrew Newland in a statement.
“They have a strong track record and local knowledge which can help support the development of a new market for Parsortix. ANGLE expects to sign similar agreements for other key territories in due course," he added.
Parsortix has the ability to capture various different forms of circulating tumour cells allowing for specialist analysis that could ultimately lead to personalised cancer treatment.
