St George Mining Ltd (ASX:SGQ) chair John Prineas is back with Proactive to discuss the Mt Alexander Project’s lithium potential. Recent rock chip sampling returned up to 2.7% lithium, while strong caesium, tantalum and rubidium grades could point to substantial deposits at depth. Prineas says field mapping and soil sampling have bolstered understanding around an important lithium corridor, which is also being explored by some of St George’s neighbours. Lithium drilling is scheduled from late this month or early next.
