Redx Pharma PLC (AIM:REDX) chief executive Lisa Anson tells Proactive's Thomas Warner that the company is advancing RXC007, one of its lead programmes in fibrosis, into phase II clinical trials following the success of its pre-clinical and phase I trials.
She says the new programme will initially be developed for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a lung condition with high unmet need and where mortality rates are very poor, but may be broadened to include other areas of lung fibrosis.
