Victory Resources Corporation told investors it has increased its footprint at its Stingray property in Quebec by adding five claims, bringing its total holding there to 49.
"Victory's exploration team has dealt with technical issues with the Quebec mining registration system (GESTIM) and added to and relocated some of its claims to, expanding from 44 claims announced in July to a total of 49 claims," the company said in a statement.
It also noted that its Stingray properties are non-contiguous to the south of Patriot Battery Metals' Corvette lithium property. They are underlain by intermediate intrusive rocks and based on regional geology they abut the volcanic sequence of the James Bay Greenstone belt.
"As Victory's Exploration team continues to assess additional land claims in the area, it intends to conduct a geologic and surface geochemical survey together with an airborne geophysics survey on the Stingray claims," it added.

Victory is a publicly traded diversified investment corporation with mineral interests in North America. It says it is also actively seeking other exploration opportunities.
In August this year, the company reported that it received results from the extensive ground sampling program, which built on favorable drill results, aimed at guiding prime drill locations for its next round of drilling on the company’s Smokey Lithium Property in Nevada, USA.
"The results of the ground sampling program are an important component of our ongoing exploration efforts at the property, which is also deploying geologic mapping and geologic modeling all focused on identifying additional drill targets with the highest possible potential for intercepts on the Smokey Lithium deposit," Victory CEO Mark Ireton said then.
