Mosman Oil and Gas Ltd (AIM:MSMN) confirmed its progress drilling the Cinnabar-1 well in Tyler County, Texas.
The drilling is continuing as planned, presently down at a depth of 7,083 feet towards its primary targets near target depth of 9,000 feet.
The company, in the statement, noted that it encountered a minor gas show in the Vicksburg sand at approximately 3,700 feet, and it will analyse it further with wireline logs once the well completes drilling.
No significant operational issues have been encountered, the company said.
Mosman owns a 75% interest in the Cinnabar well and it is the operator of the well.
