Caledonia Mining Corporation PLC (AIM:CMCL, NYSE-A:CMCL) chief financial officer purchased 2,235 shares in the company, at a price of US$9.95 each, to increase his holding in the company to 6,335 shares or approximately 0.05%.
EQTEC PLC (AIM:EQT) noted, in a statement, that it has – in line with an existing framework agreement – transferred 100mln shares in MetalNRG Plc worth around £100,000 to Global Investment Strategy UK Limited. The company acted as acted as guarantor for a convertible loan note (CLN) arrangement in February this year, and, it has now received £100,000 of zero-coupon, unsecured CLNs from MNRG.
“The purpose of the [latest issue of] CLNs is to allow the company to re-establish its equity position in MNRG at approximately the same level that existed prior to discharge of its GIS liability as guarantor on behalf of MNR,” the company noted.
