KULR Technology Group Inc (NYSE:KULR) said it has launched an AI driven vibration reduction service called KULR VIBE, after it acquired VibeTech, a company specializing in the detection and correction of vibration.
The new division will address one the most challenging issues with advanced machinery today: vibrations destructive to both machinery and in many cases, its operator, according to KULR.
KULR VIBE will use sensor processes with advanced learning algorithms to achieve precision balancing solutions, and predict component failure based on its database of vibration signatures, the company said, adding these AI algorithms can pinpoint areas where excess vibrations cause a loss of energy that can lead to system malfunctions, weakened performance, and maintenance issues.

This suite of services is applicable to aviation, transportation, renewable energy such as wind power, manufacturing, industrial, performance racing and autonomous aerial applications including drones, the company said, adding the service can be a standalone solution or work with existing track and balance technology.
Norm Serrano, who joins KULR as senior director of Vibe Control Technologies, invented this patented technology.
Serrano, a pioneer in the track and balancing industry, has been a sought-after vibration reduction expert and helped develop the first automated system for tracking and balancing for the US Airforce in the 1980s. For over 40 years, Serrano and his team have provided solutions for the US Department of Defense, led Indy racing teams, and helped clean energy companies attain gold standard technology, according to KULR.
KULR COO Keith Cochran said vibrations reduce the output potential for machinery, and can end up being catastrophic.

With the acquisition of VibeTech, having Norm Serrano and his team join the company and now the launch of KULR VIBE, we've taken a major step expanding into a vertically integrated energy management company, accelerating the transition to circular electrification economy," Cochran said in a statement.

According to insights-driven global market intelligence company Fact.MR, the global vibration motor market is estimated at US$6.5 billion in 2022 and is forecast to reach $24.1 billion by 2032, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 14.1% during 2022 to 2032, KULR said.
Serrano said he is thrilled to bring decades of vibration reduction experience and solutions further into the marketplace.
