Highlights from the results included values of up to 1.55% nickel, 6.38% copper and 6.18 grams per ton (g/t) PGMs collected over a one-kilometre strike length at the SKOX showing. More high-grade grab samples collected at the Spider Lake area returned values of up to 1.48% nickel, 1.57% copper and 2.66 g/t PGMs.

Transition Metals Corp (TSX-V:XTM) said surface sampling results from work completed earlier this summer confirmed multiple zones of high-grade silver and gold mineralization at its Pike Warden gold-silver-copper property, 65 kilometers (km) southwest of Whitehorse, Yukon. The Sudbury, Ontario-based multi-commodity project generator said a broad exposure with elevated silver values was exposed by hand trenching at the ERT Zone that company geologists interpret as having characteristics of a high-level expression of a high sulphidation epithermal silver-gold system. Epithermal silver-gold deposits are found throughout the Cordilleran and are an important deposit type worldwide because of their typical high grade "bonanza" style mineralization, explained the company. These deposits are typically found with centers of magmatism and volcanism.
Murchison Minerals Ltd (TSX-V:MUR, OTCQB:MURMF, TSX-V:MUR.V) said that prospecting this summer at its huge HPM (Haut-Plateau de la Manicouagan) project in Quebec had further shown its district-scale nickel-bearing sulphide potential. The work identified and expanded surface mineralization at previously identified zones and unveiled new regional showings of sulphide mineralization. Notably, the regional prospecting work only covered a localized portion of the total 648 square kilometre (sq km) area that makes up the HPM project.

Equity Metals Corporation (TSX-V:EQTY, OTCQB:EQMEF) said that it is extending the term of the unexercised total of 8,135,000 share purchase warrants, all of which are exercisable at $0.12 per share. The warrants were issued in two tranches, on October 22, 2019 and November 25, 2019, pursuant to a private placement and are scheduled to expire on October 22, 2022 and November 25, 2022. The company is extending the expiry by 2 years and, accordingly, the new expiry date for the warrants will be October 22, 2024 and November 25, 2024, respectively.
Vox Royalty Corp (TSX-V:VOX) said that its shares are set to begin trading on the Nasdaq in New York by the end of October this year after they were approved. As reported previously, the royalty firm believes a secondary Nasdaq listing will provide further exposure to US trading and ultimately improve the company's "overall profile and enhance shareholder value". Electra Battery Materials Corporation (TSX-V:ELBM, NASDAQ:ELBM) told investors it has confirmed a new zone of cobalt mineralization at the Ruby target at its Iron Creek project in Idaho following drill results. The target sits just 1.5 kilometres (km) southeast of the company's Iron Creek deposit and the first two holes drilled hit intercepts including 6.4 metres (m) at 0.21% cobalt from a depth of 307.5m to 313.9m. Another hole hit a length of 0.64m starting from 364.3m depth at a grade of 0.87% cobalt.

ChitogenX Inc (CSE:CHGX), which was formally known as Ortho Regenerative Technologies, announced its decision to pursue sales of medical grade chitosan as a new near-term commercial revenue initiative following the completion of an internal commercial and regulatory readiness process. The Montreal-based regenerative medicine company focused on the development of novel soft tissue repair regenerative technologies, noted that the global market for medical grade chitosan is currently pegged at around $250 million a year, and forecasted to double over the next seven years. "ChitogenX has spent years and significant financial resources developing a unique and proprietary chitosan/platelet-rich plasma (PRP) formulation to increase the healing rates of soft tissues,” ChitogenX CEO Philippe Deschamps said in a statement.

Marvel Discovery Corp announced that it has signed a joint venture (JV) agreement with Carmanah Minerals Corp to earn a 50% interest in the Walker Claims in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. The emerging resource company said by completion of the earn-in by Carmanah, Marvel and Carmanah would each own 50% of the project, with Carmanah funding C$1.5 million in exploration expenditures, paying C$400,000 in cash payments and issuing of 3.5 million shares and 3.5 million warrants.

Ocean Power Technologies (NASDAQ:OPTT) (OPT) said it has been selected by Amentum Services to assist in providing the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Analysis Center (IAC) with land, air, space, and port and coastal surveillance services in support of the US Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate (DHS-S&T). The sub-contract is worth $529,025, and will include providing scientific hardware delivery, training, and integration services for DHS-S&T’s Port and Coastal Surveillance (P&CS) projects, the company said. Numinus Wellness Inc announced that it has developed a tea bag containing psilocybin for use in clinical research and, if the appropriate regulatory approvals are granted, the eventual treatment of clients engaging in psychedelic-assisted therapy. The company said the research behind the tea bag involved the development of processes and procedures to deliver 25mg per dose of Numinus’ validated strains of Psilocybe cubensis. It will be studied in a Phase 1 trial for practitioners receiving experiential training for psilocybin-assisted therapy, with the goal of using the tea in Numinus’ research, including trial partnerships at the company’s clinical trial management division Cedar Clinical Research.
South Star Battery Metals Corp said it intends to complete a non-brokered private placement of units at a price of C$0.53 per unit to raise funds of up to C$5,250,000. The Vancouver-based mining company said it has also amended the terms of its stream agreement and promissory note with Sprott Private Resource Streaming and Royalty (B) Corp. for the Santa Cruz graphite project in Brazil. According to South Star, proceeds from the private placement will be used for exploration, development, construction activities, corporate general and administrative expenses, and general working capital.
