Kavango Resources PLC (LSE:KAV, OTC:KVGOF) chief executive Ben Turney tells Proactive that the company has moved quickly to mobilise a multi-purpose drill rig for its maiden drill campaign on the Kalahari Copper Belt in Botswana.
Turney says the company has identified 188 targets across four of its licence areas, marking the "culmination of about 18 months of very hard work," including mapping, soil sampling and geophysics.
Drilling is expected to start by the end of the week at PL082/2018, Kavango's most advanced licence with the most geology at surface, he adds.
