Mosman Oil and Gas confirms spud of Cinnabar well in Texas

Drilling is expected to take around two weeks to complete, down to 9,900 feet

Mosman Oil and Gas Ltd (AIM:MSMN) has confirmed the spudding of the Cinnabar-1 well in Tyler County, Texas, where drilling began on Friday 30 September.

The company, in a statement, noted that the well would now be drilled down to a target vertical depth of 9,900 feet to test primary exploration targets in the Wilcox sands, which produce oil and gas in nearby fields.

It is expected that the drilling will take around two weeks to complete.

Mosman has a 75% working interest in the well and is the project operator.
