Deloitte partners in the UK and Switzerland will receive an average income of more than £1mln for the second year in a row after another successful 12 months.
According to the Guardian, each partner will receive an average distributable profit of £1.058mln in the year to end-May, 33 times higher than the UK’s average annual pay.
Equity partners do not receive a salary but a share of the profits, with 672 of them sharing the distributable operating profit, which was up 21% to £711mln.
In its results, the audit and the consulting firm reported a revenue increase of 10% to £4.9bn.
“Our results have enabled us to make record investments - the highest in over a decade - in reward, promotions and skills. We enter the new financial year with momentum and are well placed to navigate the current economic headwinds,” said chief executive and senior partner Richard Houston.
