Coffee chain Starbucks Corp (NASDAQ:SBUX) served up a larger cash dividend for the past quarter as it looks to keep up its record of increasing its payout for the 13th consecutive year.
The quarterly payment was upped to US$0.53 per share from US$0.49, and will be paid out on 25 November to shareholders on record on 11 November.
According to a statement, it has increased its dividend each year since it was introduced in 2010, with the annual dividend now standing at US$2.12 per share.
Recently, the brand has been dealing with efforts from its US staff looking to unionise across more than 200 stores.
This coming Saturday, 1 October, is the first day for Laxman Narasimhan, the former Reckitt boss, who will become its next CEO in April.
