Panther Metals PLC (LSE:PALM) highlighted further high-grade gold drill results from the second phase programme at the Burtville East gold project in Western Australia, which is being progressed by its part-owned Australian associate.
Results from reverse circulation drilling included highlight intercepts with 3.69 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 7 metres (from a depth of 61 metres) and 1.24 g/t over 12 metres (at a depth of 88 metres), including 1 metre with 4.8g/t.
The highest among the highlight grades was a 4 metre intercept measured at 17.2g/t, which had a 1 metre section at 62.8g/t.
Phase 2 drilling comprised 6 RC holes totalling 577 metres of drilling and 2 diamond core holes for 147 metres. Panther noted that diamond core drilling is now complete, samples have been sent for analysis, and assays are pending.
"These latest set of strong gold intercepts from drilling at the Burtville East Gold Project further to add to the underlying value of Panther Australia, as the team continue to grow the business,” said chief executive Darren Hazelwood.
“The potential positive impact on Panther Metals through our 36.6% holding in the Australian business should not be underestimated, as their successes continue to build momentum."
