Critical Resources delivers more high-grade lithium up to 3.36% from Mavis Lake Project in Canada

Critical Resources Ltd (ASX:CRR) has followed up its highest-grade lithium assays yet with more high-grade results just two weeks later, continuing the pattern of value extraction from the Mavis Lake Lithium Project in Ontario, Canada.

The company fielded results from three drill holes of note (MF22-81, MF22-82 and MF22-85), with highlights including:

  • 14.7 metres at 1.09% lithium from 146 metres, including 8 metres at 1.61% from 146.9 metres and 1.5 metres at 3.36% from 151.5 metres;
  • 13.2 metres at 1.30% from 163 metres, including 9.8 metres at 1.65% from 165.63 metres; and
  • 15 metres at 1.19% from 148.15 metres, including 9.6 metres at 1.72% from 149.6 metres.

Building toward a JORC resource

“To follow our last results with another set of such high-grade assays is an excellent outcome for the company, and further builds our confidence in delineating a JORC-compliant resource in the near term,” Critical Resources non-executive director Alex Cheeseman said.

“We believe the last few rounds of assay results have been some of the highest grades released by an ASX-listed lithium company so far in 2022, this sets us up well to continue advancing the project and transition Critical Resources into a potential lithium project developer.”

Critical expects to receive assays for the recently drilled holes MF22-119 and MF22-121 in mid-October this year.

Drilling continues at the project, where the company has completed 11,676 metres of a recently extended 15,000-metre program.

CRR is also undertaking initial discussions with consultants to perform metallurgical test-work and resource modelling.
