One Media iP Group PLC (AIM:OMIP) has said that Mark Adams will join its board as an independent non-executive director, pending regulatory approval which is expected in the next few weeks.
Adams has nearly 30 years of experience working in senior finance roles and will join the board's audit and remuneration committees, the digital media content owner said.
It noted that Adams brings “extensive complementary experience to the company’s board,” particularly surrounding financial strategies such as mergers and acquisitions and fundraisers, as well as best practice corporate governance.
Most recent roles include finance director at Marlowe PLC, interim CFO at Stobart Group and interim CFO at Pets at Home, while he is also currently a non-executive director and audit committee chair at Development Media International.
“Mark will bring a wealth of relevant experience and expertise to the Group, further strengthening the One Media board, improving our corporate governance and providing important strategic insight built on an extensive track record of successfully operating in the listed sector at the highest levels,” One Media IP chairman Claire Blunt said in a statement.
