SWMBRD Sports CEO Justin Schroenn joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has completed what they say was successful field testing of the first two version of its swim board. Schroenn telling Proactive the testing was done off the coast of Tofino, British Columbia in small 3 to 4 foot surf. The boards were tested in for performance lakes, streams, flat ocean and moderate surf, as well as for ease of long-range portability. The company says the board did well in dive-ability and control when going out through oncoming waves, take-off torque, acceleration and speed on the wave face and hand placement ergonomics and leash placement.
