Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC (AIM:IHC) told investors it has won an order worth roughly £0.6mln from its Japanese distributor for delivery in the current financial year.
The order is for the supply of the company's high-specification SLE infant ventilators and associated consumables, which are used extensively in neonatal intensive care units to treat premature and sick babies.
In a statement, Inspiration Healthcare chief executive Neil Campbell said: “Japan has been a successful market for SLE prior to the acquisition in 2020. With registration in Japan for the SLE6000 received last year, this latest order shows the confidence our distributor has in the product range."
“We look forward to working closely with our distribution partner to build on this success, as well as other partners around the world to expand our international sales," he added.
The company noted that its results for the half-year ended 31 July will be published on 4 October, with an event for investors and shareholders to meet management and see manufacturing and product demonstrations on 7 October at its new manufacturing and technology centre in Croydon.
