Cambridge Cognition Holdings said revenues climbed by almost a third in the first half of 2022 while orders hit a new high.
The AI-based brain illness specialist reported contracted orders of £18.6mln on 30 June compared to £17.1mln six months earlier. First-half revenues rose to £5.9mln against £4.5mln previously.
Order intake over the half year was £7.2mln, up 44% on a like-for-like basis, with a solid pipeline for the second half.
“Trading conditions continue to be positive,” Cambridge Cognition said in a statement and expects to see further year-on-year revenue growth.
Cash rose to £8.6mln at end-June with pre-tax profits for the period £0.02mln (£0.08mln).
Matthew Stork, chief executive, said the company had made a “great start” to 2022.
“Our contracted order book is at its highest level and, along with a healthy sales order pipeline and strong cash generation, puts us in a great position to continue to invest in strategies to grow the business further."
He said it has limited exposure to gas and electricity inflation and although there are pressures elsewhere the current order book gives visibility over revenues in the short to medium term.
