Mosman Oil & Gas expects Cinnabar spud will now be in late September

Mosman is the operator of the well and has a 75% stake in the project.

Mosman Oil and Gas Ltd (AIM:MSMN) has confirmed that its contractor had experienced a further delay as it works toward the spudding of the Cinnabar-1 well in Tyler County, Texas.

The company, in a statement, said that all site preparation is complete and once the rig arrives onsite drilling will commence.

It is now anticipated that drilling can start in the last week of September.

Cinnabar is planned for a vertical depth of 9,900 feet with its primary target the Wilcox sands, which produce oil and gas in nearby wells.

Once underway drilling is expected to take about two weeks.

If successful, Mosman anticipates Cinnabar could increase the company’s production by 130 barrels oil equivalent per day.

Mosman has a 75% interest in the project and it is the operator.
