Infinity Stone Ventures identifies new high-grade copper zone at Zen-Whoberi project in Quebec

One sample of mineralization returned grades of 15.5% copper, 14.9 g/t silver, 0.40 g/t gold, 0.114% nickel, and 216 parts per million cobalt

Infinity Stone Ventures Corp (CSE:GEMS) said it has identified a new high-grade copper zone from the ongoing reconnaissance program at its Zen-Whoberi project in Quebec, with one grab sample grading 15.5% copper.

The company said assays for grab samples at the newly-discovered Centauri Zone also yielded anomalously high gold, silver, nickel, and cobalt.

One sample of mineralization returned grades of 15.5% copper, 14.9 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 0.40 g/t gold, 0.114% nickel, and 216 parts per million cobalt. The other two samples taken from the newly identified zone yielded 2.12% and 0.70% copper, Infinity Stone said.

Further work will attempt to determine if the presence of carbonatite dikes, found at the Centauri Zone when it was stripped in late August 2022, played a role in the mineralization process, which may have served as a conduit for the circulation of deep-seated mineralized fluids.

The company noted that grab samples were selective in nature and mineralization and grades were not necessarily reflective of the mineralization hosted by the property.

Infinity Stone’s mission is to be a diversified, single-source supplier for the critical energy metals being used in the clean energy revolution alongside its established Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution portfolio.
