Zamaz PLC London LSE debut: Direct listing versus traditional IPO using PIPE funding

Zamaz PLC London LSE debut: Direct listing versus traditional IPO using PIPE funding

Luciano Maranzana, MD of Innovative Finance S.r.l. the corporate advisor to Zamaz PLC (LSE:ZAMZ) joins Proactive to talk about its direct listing onto the London Stock Exchange last week.

Following last week’s successful £75mln direct listing and admission to trading on the LSE main market of Zamaz PLC (LSE:ZAMZ), Maranzano explains why this style of listing was chosen and why this route is advantageous for a firm of this type.

Zamaz’s direct listing also has an innovative funding structure which includes an equity subscription element and, interestingly, a £15 million funding line known as a “PIPE” provided by a US-backed cornerstone investor, Atlas Capital.
