4GLOBAL PLC (AIM:4GBL), the sports data analytics specialist, said it was executing well against its performance benchmarks.
It said it continued to build its recurring revenue platform, while recent deals in the US, Canada and Mainland Europe are aiding its international expansion.
In a trading update, the company provided a little more detail on its acquisition plans when it said it had identified a ‘number of technology and data companies which are of interest’.
Specifically, it is on the hunt for profitable £1mln-£3mln turnover businesses.
“Key criteria for any potential acquisition remain that they would allow 4GLOBAL to grow its client portfolio in key target geographical markets whilst at the same time bring complementary data and technology,” investors were told.
4Global advises cities, governments, event organisers and sporting bodies on the social, economic, financial, participation and health impact of sport.
Its customer base falls into four broad categories: private businesses such as healthcare firms and insurers, governments, cities and sporting federations.
It generates revenues from just two sources: services and technology.
