4GLOBAL PLC (AIM:4GBL) said its revenues for the year to the end of March were up 35% with underlying profitability expected to be ‘significantly ahead if expectations’.
The company, which provides sporting data analytics, has benefited from the award of some major contracts in the final quarter and it said it would be involved with the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Ahead of the trading update, the City was expecting the group to post turnover of £3.6mln for the year ending March 31, generating EBIT of £316,000 and EBITDA of £325,000.
“The recent listing of the company on AIM in December 2021 has added significant credibility to our business, resulting in an enhanced pipeline of new opportunities, which is at the highest point in the company's history,” said chief executive Eloy Mazon.
“As a result of strong recurring revenues, new business wins and healthy pipeline of opportunities, the Board is optimistic about the future prospects for the company."
