NextEnergy Capital managing director Ross Grier joined Proactive to talk about a £200mln extension to a battery storage joint venture.
The partnership is between the NextEnergy Solar Fund (NextEnergy Solar Fund Ltd (LSE:NESF)) and a company called Eelpower Ltd. The two are already collaborators on a smaller JV.
They have found a first asset - a 50MW battery in Scotland that's under construction - and have an exciting additional pipeline of opportunities.
