Thor Explorations Ltd (TSX-V:THX, AIM:THX, OTC:THXPF) has announced results from initial drilling at the newly discovered Sambara Prospect and continued drilling at the Makosa gold deposit at its Douta Gold Project in Senegal.

"We are pleased to report a successful initial drilling campaign on the Sambara prospect. Significantly, this has established that gold mineralisation is developed in the northern parts of our exploration permit. We look forward to advancing exploration on this discovery which we hope will supplement the Makosa resource,” Segun Lawson, Thor president & CEO, said in a statement.

MP Evans’ put in a strong performance in the first half of 2022 helped by the 43% rise in palm oil prices, said broker Peel Hunt.

Pricing has pulled back over the last few months, alongside numerous changes to the Indonesian tax and export regime, but looks to have now stabilised, which should give a more helpful background going forwards, said the broker.

Quantum Blockchain Technologies PLC (AIM:QBT) has announced the appointment of Peter Fuhrman as a non-executive director with immediate effect, and said trading in the company's shares will resume today.

The company noted that Fuhrman has extensive experience in high-technology, semiconductors, finance and investment industries. ANGLE PLC (AIM:AGL, OTCQX:ANPCY) said results using its Parsortix liquid biopsy in a pilot pelvic mass study carried out in conjunction with the Wilmot Cancer Institute have been published in the prestigious Obstetrics & Gynecology (The Green Journal).

Using Parsortix combined with serum protein biomarkers to form a predictive algorithm (MAGIC), malignancy in women with a pelvic mass was detected more effectively than with serum biomarkers alone, ANGLE said.

Greatland Gold PLC (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF) shares rose early on Monday as the company revealed it has secured up to A$340mln (£200mln) in new funding that it expects will fully fund its 30% share of developing the world-class Havieron gold-copper deposit in Western Australia into production, and unveiled three transformational board appointments.

Shares in the AIM-traded development and exploration company jumped over 11% to 9.25p following the announcements.

MP Evans upped its dividend by 25% as soaring palm oil prices sent profits up by 53% in the first six months of 2022.

Production eased slightly during the period but that was more than compensated for by the rise in the price of mill-gate crude palm oil to an average of US$1,305 per tonne from US$724 a year earlier.

Condor Gold PLC (AIM:CNR, TSX:COG, OTC:CNDGF) has released the results of a bankable feasibility study in the economics of the La India open pit gold project in Nicaragua.

The feasibility study is based around probable mineral reserve of 7.3mln tonnes of ore grading 2.56 grams per tonne for 602,000 ounces. The internal rate of return rings in at 23%.
