Forte Minerals Corp announced it has appointed Jasmine Lau as its new chief financial officer.
In a statement, Forte said that Lau has an “extensive” background in the resource sector and has served as CFO of several public exploration companies with international projects.
The new CFO previously worked at Teck Resources and Deloitte, where she focused on audits of public mining companies.

Lau will replace outgoing CFO Samantha Shorter. Forte said it “extends its appreciation to Ms. Shorter for her dedication and contributions” and wishes her well in her future endeavours.
Forte is advancing a group of mineral properties in Peru.
