Cabral Gold Inc (TSX-V:CBR) has unveiled more drill results from its Cuiu Cuiu gold project in Brazil, which underscore the significant growth potential of the property in Para state.
The latest assays hail from 11 diamond drill holes, which were recently completed at the MG gold deposit.
"The ongoing drill results from MG continue to confirm the down-dip continuity of MG gold mineralization, particularly within the western part of the deposit, said Alan Carter, Cabral's CEO in a statement.
"They also suggest there may be other undrilled and steeply plunging higher-grade zones within the overall MG gold deposit that are still to be discovered. The MG gold deposit remains open at depth."
The firm is currently updating a resource estimate for the Cuiu Cuiu project and the latest highlights from the 11 holes from the MG deposit included one hole, which hit 46.3 metres (m) at a grade of 2.2 grams per ton (g/t) gold within unweathered primary basement mineralization from a depth of 103.2m.

That included an intersection of 1m at 82.4 g/t gold from 120m depth.
Another hole returned a length of 22.3m at 1.6 g/t of the yellow metal from 22.7m depth within the weathered oxide basement saprolite.
This hole also hit 11.7m at a grade of 0.4 g/t gold from surface within gold-in-oxide blanket material and 14.7m at 0.8 g/t gold in fresh rock from 45m depth.
Cabral said the recent drill results from the program at MG continued to demonstrate the down-dip continuity of gold mineralization in the western and west-central part of the deposit.
Drill results indicate that gold grades persist to depth, it added, and the MG deposit remains open down-dip on every section drilled to date.
Meanwhile, results are pending on eight follow-up diamond-drill holes at the Machichie target, while assays are also pending on six diamond-drill holes at the Indio target.
Junior explorer Cabral has a 100% interest in the Cuiú Cuiú gold district located in the Tapajós Region, within the state of Pará in northern Brazil.
Two gold deposits have so far been defined at Cuiú Cuiú and contain 43-101 compliant indicated resources of 5.9 million tonnes (Mt) at 0.90 g/t for 200,000 ounces and inferred resources of 19.5Mt at 1.24 g/t for 800,000 ounces.
