Diamcor Mining Inc. (TSX-V:DMI, OTCQB:DMIFF) CEO Dean Taylor tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion that the company achieved strong results in its latest tender and sale of rough diamonds despite rolling blackouts that affected its Krone-Endora mine in South Africa's Limpopo province.
In the second tender and sale of its second fiscal quarter, Diamcor sold a total of 1,836.52 carats of rough diamonds including the previously announced 59.35-carat gem diamond, generating gross revenues of $1.62 million.
Taylor said he expects demand to outstrip supply, partly due to sanctions that have affected Russian producer Alrosa.
