Infinity Stone Ventures Corp (CSE:GEMS) said it has expanded its land position in the James Bay lithium district in Quebec near Patriot Battery Metals’ Corvette project to 3,850 hectares with 21 historically mapped pegmatites.
The company said the additional land comprised two blocks covering 1,540 and 1,028 hectares. The northwestern block is contiguous with the southern boundary of Infinity Stones’ Taiga project, while the newly staked Hellcat project is located 8.7 kilometres southeast of Infinity Stone’s Camaro project.
Infinity Stone said the newly acquired land hosts an additional 12 historically mapped pegmatite occurrences, with 11 appearing in the southeastern Hellcat project.

The company noted that it has also identified five additional historically mapped pegmatites on the Camaro project, with a team mobilized to the project. It said it intends to provide further updates on this in the immediate future.
Infinity Stone CEO Zayn Kalyan said the company was aggressively expanding its footprint in the rapidly evolving James Bay lithium district through the staking of additional claims that have strategic exploration potential.
“With the addition of the Hellcat, alongside the newly identified pegmatites on the Camaro, the coming months will be very active on the exploration front," Kalyan said in a statement.
