Alkaline Fuel Cell Power Corp. (NEO:PWWR.AQN) (AFCP) said its wholly-owned Belgium subsidiary, Fuel Cell Power NV, has earned ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system from BQA NV in accordance with international standards from the International Organization for Standardization.
The application field for the certification is the development of alkaline fuel cells, the company said.
“The integration of this quality management system with customer demands and consumer needs, combined with pace-setting engineering is the perfect basis for achieving our goal to become a cost leader in our global operating environment," Jo Verstappen, managing director of Fuel Cell Power, said in a statement.

"Achieving ISO 9001 certification represents another key milestone in AFCP's journey, and provides important third-party validation of the company's emphasis and unwavering commitment to reliability, quality assurance and safety," added AFCP CEO Frank Carnevale.
AFCP is a diversified investment platform developing affordable, renewable, and reliable energy assets and cleantech. It operates through two global entities: Fuel Cell Power NV, a wholly-owned subsidiary in Belgium, and PWWR Flow Streams, an AFCP brand in Canada.
The company is focused on the development, production and commercialization of micro-combined heat and power systems and off-grid and back-up power generators based on advanced alkaline fuel cell technology that generates zero CO2 emissions.
