Michael Ralston, chief executive of Blencowe Resources PLC (LSE:BRES), joined Proactive to discuss a change in strategic tack.
Specifically, the mine developer has terminated its agreement with SIPA Resources relating to the Akelikongo nickel project so that it can focus on its flagship Orom-Cross graphite project.
Ralston described results from a pre-feasibility study of Orom-Cross as exceptional. "We really need to focus our attention, resources and efforts on realising the value of the graphite before we start chasing something else," he told presenter Katie Pilbeam.
