Panthera Resources has delineated five significant prospects of wide zones of metal mineralisation from the latest drilling at Bassala in Mali.
Mark Bolton, managing director, said: “We were able to delineate at least 5 areas as prospects, the Tabakorole prospect being a significant structure that we walked over a 2km strike length.”
Bolton said this prospect contained old artisanal diggings and trends of vein rubble while drilling also identified wide zones of mineralisation near the surface.
“The next phase at the Bassala project will comprise detailed infill RC drilling to identify potential resources," he said.
The 2022 drill programme comprised of 2,601 metres (m) of reverse circulation (RC) drilling in 23 drill holes and 3,030m of air-core (AC) geochemical drilling in 50 drill holes.
