IXICO, the brain scan data specialist, said underlying profits this year to end-September will be comfortably ahead of its previous guidance of £1.2mln.
Revenues for the year are broadly in line with market expectations, it added, with £0.2mln of revenues expected to move from 2022 into 2023 due to the timing of client trials.
IXICO added that since March it has also signed contracts worth around £7.5mln, with orders expected to top £15mln at the year-end.
Revenues in 2023 are expected to be around £7mln, of which £5mln is already contracted, said the company, and which includes the impact of previously announced client trial cessations.
IXICO added that following those cancellations it has concentrated on diversifying its customer base and anticipates running at least 25 projects across more than 15 clients during 2023, with its largest client trial representing under 15% of its projected revenues.
Giulio Cerroni, chief executive, added: "We continue to diversify our client base and prioritise commercial and investment strategies that position the company for future growth.
“2023 will see us further strengthen our orderbook to capture the growth opportunity for our specialist neuroimaging technology services for 2024 and beyond."
