Zamaz PLC, a growing ethical consumer goods firm, is set to join the London Stock Exchange on Friday, September 2.
The company comes to market through a direct listing, supported by an equity subscription by stakeholder Atlas Capital Markets.
Cornerstone investment from Atlas underpins an initial two-year business plan, Zamaz chief executive Chris Hill said in a stock market statement,
He meanwhile noted that further funding may come in the future through what described as an innovative ‘private investment in public equity’ (PIPE) facility with Atlas.
“This process will broaden the ownership of Zamaz, in support of our mission to build a multi-national, multi-channel and multi-cultural on-line consumer goods business orientated around ecologically produced and health supportive brands and products, ethically sourced from all over the world," Hill said.
In a statement, noting the publishing of the company’s prospectus, it detailed that some 35.33mln new shares priced at 11p per share, raising £3.69mln of new capital, along with some £15mln of convertible loan notes.
The Zamaz portfolio comprises Ecomoist, an ecological screen cleaner derived from natural sources, and Bella Dispensa, an innovative online grocery in Italy.
