Franco Manca owner Fulham Shore rolls ahead with restaurant openings

Despite economic turmoil, 18 sites are planned for 2023, according to AGM statement

At Fulham Shore’s annual general meeting held at the Manchester Corn Exchange this morning, the owner of the Franco Manca and Real Greek chains has assured members that the group is trading in line with management expectations.

The company opened nine Franco Manca restaurants this year to date, bringing the total up to 90, with 18 openings planned in 2023.

Executive chairman David Page said: "Franco Manca and The Real Greek continue to operate busy restaurants. Our customers are attracted by our high-quality ingredients and great prices.

“Despite the disruption caused by rail strikes, our restaurants old and new provide a great space for people to meet and enjoy time with family, friends and colleagues.”

No word on the delayed dividends policy has been expressed.

Fulham Shore has £4.7mln in the kitty as well as £15.9mln in undrawn bank facilities, according to the AGM statement.
