BBGI Global Infrastructure SA (LSE:BBGI), which has stakes in the Ohio River and Golden Ears bridges, said its portfolio was "robust, resilient, and defensive" after posting a solid set of interims.
Its net asset value, the benchmark for investment companies such as BBGI, grew by 6.5% to 149.8p in the six months ended 30 June 2022, while the annualised total shareholder return since IPO currently stands at 9.1%.
The company is targeting a 7.48p dividend for 2022, which at current prices represents a yield of 4.6%. It expects the pay-out, which is currently two times covered, to rise to 7.63p next year and 7.78p in 2024.
"This performance underlines the robust, resilient, and defensive nature of our investment proposition, which is well placed to continue delivering secure, inflation-linked income to our shareholders and positive sustainable impact on the local communities our assets serve,” said co-chief executives Duncan Ball and Frank Schramm.
“The quality and security of our portfolio's cash flows have come into sharper focus given rising inflation globally.”
