Albion Enterprise VCT PLC said it invested over £1.3mln in new investments in the 12 weeks to 30 June while also increasing its stakes in existing investments.
The investment management firm said in a statement that it invested £862,000 into analytics firm PeakData as well as £525,600 in debt resolution platform Ophelos.
Additionally, it increased its investments in Gravitee Topco, Cantab Research, Accelex Technology and Concirrus for a total of £1.2mln.
Albion added that its net asset value (NAV) as of 30 June was £113.39mln, or 130.2p per share, a decrease of 2.08p per share, or 1.6%, since 31 March this year.
However, after accounting for this interim dividend to be paid on 31 August of 3.31p per share, NAV is \t 126.89p.
During the period, the group raised funds of £826,000 following the issue of 644,529 new ordinary shares, priced between 131.7p and 133p per share.
Although the company did not complete any buybacks in the period, the statement said it “remains the board’s policy to buy back shares in the market.”
