Revolution Beauty Group PLC said its shares may be suspended later this week as its auditors struggle to complete its results on time.
At the start of the month, the cosmetics and skincare retailer warned that, as well as it making a loss in the first half of this year, its results for the previous year were expected to arrive on 30 August, as a result of "additional time required" to complete the audit.
Two and a half weeks ago, another statement was released after its auditors flagged accounting issues that could have a “material impact” on the annual profits, with potential adjustments needing to be made to stock and bad debt provisioning and revenue recognition.
It said these needed to be fully resolved and agreed with management.
But today, the company said it had no further update on this accounting issue but will provide further updates “as appropriate".
