Forward Water Technologies (TSX-V:FWTC) CEO Howie Honeyman joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has signed an early development contract with a significant western Canadian lithium company to use lithium isolation in their operation. Honeyman telling Proactive the company’s process uses a low energy demand forward osmosis process to concentrate brines and is expected to lead to new and more efficient processing methods for mineral recovery. The process, in their estimation, will be essential to minimize costs, limit the consumption of water, and provide the highest quality battery-grade lithium materials.
