Hapbee Technologies launches redesigned and upgraded digital wellness platform Hapbee 2.0

In addition to user-facing improvements, the company said it has upgraded its core operating architecture and Firmware Operating System to support several key strategic priorities that were not feasible in its previous app

Hapbee Technologies Inc (TSX-V:HAPB, OTCQB:HAPBF) said it has launched its redesigned and upgraded digital wellness mobile app to give the Hapbee community greater control of their sleep routines.

In addition to user-facing improvements, Hapbee said it has upgraded its core operating architecture and Firmware Operating System to support several key strategic priorities that were not feasible in its previous app, with a focus on partnerships and integrations.

The company said the new consumer-facing enhancements were based on significant in-market testing and feedback from its growing community of passionate users.

The enhancements include the expansion of its digital wellness library with the introduction of Wellness Routines, which allows users to time-release Blends in a “playlist” without having to start and stop, and enhanced Bluetooth.

Hapbee said the upgraded app began rolling out to select user groups in early July and completed distribution through Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store this month.

According to the company, Hapbee experienced its highest user engagement ever following the launch, with daily active users reaching more than 1,350 users per day in the first week of August.

Hapbee CEO Yona Shtern said it was clear based on input from its community what steps the company needed to take in order to prepare Hapbee for long-term growth and mass customer adoption.

"Upgrading our user experience to make it more intuitive was a key element and we are delighted with the impressive customer engagement growth on the new platform,” Shtern said.

“Building out an architecture capable of supporting user-generated content, partnerships and integrations, enterprise customers and the next generation of Hapbee-powered devices is a major step forward that has been months in the making."

New CFO appointed

The company also announced that it has appointed Mitch Kujavsky as its new CFO, replacing interim CFO Brent Dobsch as of August 1, 2022.

Based in Montreal, Kujavsky has many years of experience leading finance and accounting for both public and private companies, Hapbee said.

Hapbee is a digital wellness technology company that aims to help people take control of how they sleep, perform and feel.
