NexTech AR Solutions CEO Evan Gappelberg joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has made another advancement in its spatial computing platform ARway with the addition of LiDAR. Gappelberg telling Proactive, LiDAR technology sensors are able to create precise three-dimensional images of the environment, and to measure distances and the velocity of road-traffic participants, obstacles, and pedestrians. This, according to the company, enhances mapping accuracy and occlusion.
