Peloton Interactive (NASDAQ:PTON) stock soared more than 18% on Wednesday morning following the announcement that the fitness company’s products were now available for purchase in Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN)’s US stores.
The Peloton exercise bike, guide, and selected accessories and apparel are available for purchase, with bike delivery available to most of the US.
This is the latest move by the embattled stock to boost its distribution channels and expand brand awareness by making its products more readily available.

Prior to this agreement, Peloton products were sold exclusively through the brand’s e-commerce site, inside sales channels, and global showrooms.
Peloton chief commercial officer Kevin Cornils said the company wanted to meet consumers where they are, which is shopping on Amazon. "Expanding our distribution channels through Amazon is a natural extension of our business and an organic way to increase access to our brand," he said.
Shares of Peloton were trading at about US$13.25 in early trading Wednesday, far below the brand’s January 2021 peak stock price of about US$167 per share.
