FYI Resources Ltd (ASX:FYI) managing director Roland Hill joined Andrew Scott from Proactive to talk about the appointment of global engineering firm Hatch Ltd to work on the company’s high purity alumina (HPA) project, which is a joint venture with development partner Alcoa (NYSE:AA). The deal will see Hatch facilitate engineering studies for the project’s demonstration plant. This will bring it closer to producing HPA for the battery, sapphire glass and technology markets.
