The Greenrose Holding Company has announced financial and operating results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2022, noting expanded cultivation capacity in Arizona and Connecticut. A multi-state cultivator and producer of cannabis brands and products, Greenrose’s 2Q revenue increased 40% to US $9.2 million compared to $6.6 million in the prior year quarter. The increase reflects primarily incremental revenue contributions from cannabis operator True Harvest compared to the prior year period, which only included contributions from Connecticut-based Theraplant.

Newrange Gold Corp announced it closed a private placement for gross proceeds of $300,000, consisting of 10 million units at a price of $0.03 per unit. Each unit consists of one share of the company and one warrant exercisable at a price of $0.05 at any time until August 22, 2024. In a statement, the gold company said that “approximately 20%” of the funds will be used towards field logistics at the North Birch and Argosy projects in Ontario, with the remainder going to general working capital including due diligence on a potential acquisition.

Sigma Lithium Corporation has released a corporate update following a quarter in which the company significantly increased the scale of its Grota do Cirilo project in Brazil. In three months ended June 30, the company doubled its planned near-term production to 531,000 tonnes per year of battery grade sustainable lithium and increased the total mineral resource estimate by roughly 50% to 86 million tonnes with an average resource grade of 1.43% high purity spodumene lithium oxide.

The Valens Company (TSX:VLNS, OTCQX:VLNCF) Inc has reached a deal to be acquired by SNDL Inc, the largest private sector liquor and cannabis retailer in Canada, for about $138 million, according to a statement. SNDL's retail banners include Ace Liquor, Wine and Beyond, Liquor Depot, Value Buds, and Spiritleaf. It will acquire all issued and outstanding common shares of Valens, and Valens’ shareholders will receive 0.3334 SNDL common shares for each Valens share. That represents an implied value of $1.26 per Valens share, which is roughly a 10% premium. Valens shareholders will own 9.5% of the combined company.

VR Resources Ltd (TSX-V:VRR, OTCQB:VRRCF) has announced a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of up to $4 million. The company said it will use the gross proceeds of the financing for its mineral exploration business, and more specifically to solidify its plan for continued drilling at its Hecla-Kilmer critical metal discovery in northern Ontario. The financing is a hard-dollar private placement, non-brokered, on a best efforts basis. It will consist of 25,000,000 units at a price of $0.16 per unit, with each unit consisting of one common share of the company and one-half of a common share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant entitling the holder to acquire one additional common share at an exercise price of $0.25 each for a period of 18 months from the closing date of the financing.

Stuhini Exploration Ltd (TSX-V:STU) said it has closed the second and final tranche of its non-brokered private placement, upsized on August 17, 2022, for gross aggregate proceeds to the company of $948,310.75, making total aggregate gross proceeds raised under the private placement of $1,974,435.75. In a statement, Dave O'Brien, president and CEO of Stuhini, commented: "Given the present challenging market conditions in the mineral exploration space, we are pleased we were able to oversubscribe this offering. I would like to welcome our new investors as well as thank existing shareholders for their continued support." Under the second tranche of the private placement, the company has issued a total of 1,185,135 flow-through (FT) units at a price of $0.45each for total gross proceeds to the company of $533,310.75. Each FT unit consists of one common share of the company and one-half of one common share purchase FT warrant.

American Eagle Gold Corp (TSX-V:AE) told investors that it has started drilling at its NAK copper gold project in British Columbia, which, the company says, is a classic porphyry target. Reinterpretation of historical exploration and drilling data has defined several targets, which will be tested this year by between four and six vertical holes of around 800 metres (m) in length. Previous owners partially defined a large area of shallow copper-gold mineralization at NAK, which is open in all directions.

Skye Bioscience Inc (OTCQB:SKYE) has announced that the shareholders of Emerald Health Therapeutics Inc (CSE:EMH, OTCQX:EMHTF) have approved the proposed plan of arrangement which will result in the integration of the two companies, and also revealed regulatory approval to begin its first-in-human Phase 1 clinical study. "We are very pleased to see strong voting participation by Emerald Health Therapeutics shareholders at this meeting and their clear support of the proposal to merge with Skye Bioscience," Skye CEO and chair Punit Dhillon said in a statement. Skye also revealed that it has received regulatory approval to begin its first-in-human Phase 1 clinical study of SBI-100 Ophthalmic Emulsion, a patented drug representing a new class of therapeutics to potentially treat glaucoma, from the Australian Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC).

Canada Silver Cobalt Works Inc said it has begun advancing the fieldwork component of Phase 1 for its exploration plan at the Eby-Otto gold property near Kirkland Lake. To date, the company said it has identified several key areas for outcrop stripping and channel sampling, adding that all stripping permits are in place. The company has mobilized the team to begin in areas that have existing access and will expand the extent of the fieldwork as the access trails are created. Channel sampling will take place as the stripping progresses. The company said it has also initiated consultations with Matachewan First Nations. A site visit with the committee is scheduled for August 26, 2022.

Empower Clinics Inc has said that following an operational review it will divest two clinics, located in Hamilton and Mississauga, adding that both clinics will no longer operate under The Medi-Collective (TMC) banner from September 1, 2022. "After analyzing the operations of our TMC clinics and taking into consideration the potential for future growth, we've decided that both Hamilton and Mississauga clinics do not fully meet our expansion goals," Steven McAuley, chairman and CEO of Empower Clinics said in a statement. "These decisions are not made lightly but we need to adjust to our current climate and invest our resources where patients can experience truly integrated health care," he added.

Canntab Therapeutics Limited has provided an update on the recent product delivery of its unique pharmaceutical cannabinoid solutions to the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC). The company said that on August 15, 2022, it completed its first shipment of 5mg and 10mg THC InstaCann tablets to the NSLC, totaling 300 bottles of each SKU. These products are now available on the NSLC's online platform and will be available in its brick-and-mortar stores starting today, August 22, 2022. "This is a continuation of our efforts to expand our sphere of influence across not only Ontario, but the rest of the Canadian provinces," said Richard Goldstein, the company's co-founder, CFO, and interim CEO in a statement.

American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:AREC) and its subsidiary American Carbon LLC have expanded a non-dilutive, traditional asset-backed credit line of $15 million that can be drawn upon to fund growth initiatives. The expanded credit facility is a traditional loan secured by certain equipment of the company's American Carbon division, and carries a 36-month term bearing an effective initial interest rate of approximately 14.48%, the company said. “It is important for our business lines to be set up to run independently as we embark on our growth-driven initiatives at both American Carbon and ReElement Technologies, and these financing structures enable us to do this while also being opportunistic on our growth opportunities,” American Resources CFO Kirk Taylor said in a statement.

Todos Medical Ltd. (OTCQB:TOMDF) revealed that its Provista Diagnostics business has now commercially launched its PCR-based MonkeyPox test in the US in a bid to join the battle to contain the virus. "Currently the US has capacity to test approximately 80,000 samples per week," said Todos CEO Gerald E. Commissiong in a statement. "If we are to contain MonkeyPox and prevent it from becoming endemic to the United States, we must dramatically ramp up testing of not only lesion-based samples that require someone's infection to become symptomatic, but also saliva-based samples that likely provide the best opportunity to diagnose patients much earlier in disease pathogenesis."

Fobi AI (TSX-V:FOBI, OTCQB:FOBIF) Inc said it has appointed Jon Haydock as its new chief technical officer who is expected to help the company achieve full global scale. Haydock is an experienced technical leader with more than two decades of experience in technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and enterprise solution delivery, Fobi said. Haydock most recently served as Director of Engineering at Open Ocean Robotics, where he oversaw its electronics and software engineering teams.

Royal Helium Ltd (TSX-V:RHC, OTCQB:RHCCF) announced that it has sampled up to 84.9 milligram per litre (Mg/L) lithium in brine underlying the Climax helium project in southwest Saskatchewan. The Canadian explorer and developer of helium properties said it has provided notice to the Province of Saskatchewan that it intends to acquire the lithium mineral rights, with the intent to advance a lithium brine project alongside the ongoing helium development operations.

United Lithium Corp (CSE:ULTH) has provided an update on its recent exploration activities, saying it is active on multiple high potential lithium projects in both Europe and North America, with a view to being a sustainable supplier to the rapidly growing lithium-ion battery market. Starting with the Bergby property in Sweden, the company said since its acquisition in 2021 with new exploration claims added, 86 diamond drill holes have been completed for a total of 8,090 metres (m). This brings the total number of holes drilled on the project since 2017 to 118 diamond drill holes for a total of 9,560m. Multiple strike extensive pegmatites have been intersected in drilling, frequently carrying spodumene mineralization. Drilling is anticipated to continue until the end of the year. Assay results from the most recent drilling are pending and are expected to be available for reporting in early 4Q 2022.

United Lithium also said that subject to regulatory approval, it has granted an aggregate of 4.05 million restricted share units (RSUs) to the directors and officers of the company in accordance with the company's equity incentive plan effective August 11, 2022

Prospector Metals Corp has reported encouraging drill results from its maiden program at the 118-square-kilometre (sq km) Toogood property on New World Island, Newfoundland. The work comprised 26 HQ-size diamond drillholes for 2,064.5 metres (m) across the Quinlan, Titan and Sherwood zones. At Quinlan, 19 holes were sunk, which extended the known surface expression of the dyke to 200m strike and 120m downdip. Mineralization remains open in all directions.

World Copper Ltd (TSX-V:WCU, OTCQX:WCUFF) said it has granted incentive stock options to directors, officers, employees and, consultants of the company to purchase up to 5,000,000 common shares in the capital stock of the company. The options are exercisable on or before August 19, 2025, at a price of $0.31 per share.

Bluerush Inc said the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing documentation with respect to its non-brokered private placement announced August 10, 2022, of debentures with a principal amount of US$3,023,995.15 convertible into 75,625,000 common shares at 4 US cents (5 Canadian cents) purchase price for the first year and at 10 cents per share until maturity four years from issuance with an interest rate of 10% per annum, together with 37,812,500 share purchase warrants with an exercise price of 7.5 US cents (9.4 Canadian cents for 48 months with 22 placees.

Highgold Mining Inc said the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filling a property sale agreement dated June 10, 2022, between Epica Gold Inc, a subsidiary of Highgold Mining, and Gravel Ridge Resources (ASX:RID) Ltd and 1544230 Ontario Inc (the vendors). Under the terms of the agreement, the company may acquire a 100% interest in mining claims located in the Timmins region, consisting of 255 mineral claims located in Shaw, Deloro, Eldorado and Langmuir townships of Ontario. By way of consideration, the company will make cash payments totalling $80,000 and will issue a total of 160,000 in shares at a deemed price of 77 cents per share to the vendors. The property is subject to a 1.5% net smelter return (NSR) royalty in favour of the vendors, of which the company may purchase one-third (a 0.5% royalty) from the vendors for a purchase price of $700,000.

Vejii Holdings Ltd has announced that under a resolution signed by its board of directors, and as a part of a rebranding initiative, has changed its corporate entity name to Veji Holdings Ltd. The company's trading symbol will remain as VEJI. Effective as of Friday, August 26, 2022, the company's common shares will commence trading under the new name (CUSIP 92261K106). No action is required to be taken by shareholders with respect to the name change. Outstanding share certificates are not affected by the name change and do not need to be exchanged.

Nickel North Exploration Corp (TSX-V:NNX) filed a Technical Report and updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Hawk Ridge nickel-copper-PGE property in northern Quebec. The Technical Report, which is dated August 19, 2022, has an effective date of July 5, 2022. The results of the updated Mineral Resource Estimate were previously disclosed in July. The Technical Report was prepared in accordance with the Canadian Securities Administrators' National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects and is available for review under the company's profile on SEDAR and on the C=company's website. There are no material differences between the Mineral Resource Estimate announced in the July 6, 2022, news release from those contained in the Technical Report.
