Rainbow Rare Earths's chief executive George Bennett joins Proactive to talk about its agreement with OCP, the Moroccan state-owned phosphate products producer.
It's a very significant opportunity for Rainbow, he adds, and now means the company has multiple projects in multiple countries.
The deal also incorporates working with a Moroccan university to investigate and develop the best technique for extracting rare earth elements from the millions of tonnes of phosphogypsum produced as a by-product by OCP.
