Tartisan Nickel Corp. (CSE:TN, OTCQX:TTSRF) said it has commenced "Phase 2" environmental baseline studies at its Kenbridge nickel project in Northwestern Ontario.
As previously announced by the company, Knight Piesold Consulting and Blue Heron Environmental have been retained to undertake these studies which are critical in the permitting and approvals process and to the overall advancement of the project.
Work in "Phase 2" includes Bathymetry for receiving waterbodies/lakes surrounding the project, Fisheries Studies on creeks and lakes surrounding the project, a Stage 1 Archaeology Assessment, and a Stage 1 Geochemistry Assessment.

Tartisan Nickel CEO Mark Appleby said baseline studies continue at the project, signifying the company’s commitment to an approximate three years to production timeline.
“The company is continuing to review and implement all necessary steps in the permitting and mining approval process,” he said.
He added that the recently announced PEA results outlined the robust economics and significant value of the Kenbridge nickel project. “The full PEA Report will be available on SEDAR shortly,” Appleby said.
Tartisan Nickel is a Canadian mineral exploration and mine development company whose flagship asset is the Kenbridge nickel deposit in Northwestern Ontario.
