Context Therapeutics (NASDAQ:CNTX) CEO Martin Lehr says the company enjoyed a 'tremendous' second quarter, ending June with sufficient cash to fund its operations into the fourth quarter of 2023.
The Philadelphia-based women’s oncology company developing treatments for breast and gynecological cancers, had cash, equivalents, and restricted cash totaling $42.9 million as of June 30, 2022.
"Over the quarter, we announced some very exciting things for the company," Lehr told Proactive, noting that the company is approaching its first full year as a public company. "We announced a partnership with Menarini Group, a large multi-national pharmaceutical company that is building a really exciting oncology franchise. Partnering with them really was a key step for the company in the maturation of our pipeline."
