Century Global Commodities Corporation said it has filed financial results for its fiscal first quarter ended June 30, 2022.
Notably, as of June 30, 2022, the company reported working capital of $10.2 million, consisting of cash, bank deposits and marketable securities of $8.2 million, accounts receivables and other assets of $4.5 million, and current liabilities of $2.5 million.
Century Global is primarily a resource exploration and development company with a large portfolio of multi-billion-tonne iron ore projects in Canada, mostly discovered by its own exploration team.

Century Global's most advanced project is Joyce Lake, which is a direct shipping ore project in Newfoundland and Labrador, the company said. The project completed a feasibility study in 2015, which is being updated and is undergoing environmental assessment. Joyce Lake is held in a special purpose vehicle, Joyce Direct Iron Inc, which is expected to be spun out into a separate listed company.
It has other non-ferrous metals properties under exploration as well as a well-established food distribution business called Century Food located in Hong Kong.
